Dawn in Ordovician : A stray Trilobite crawled onto a mossy beach rock., Procreate and Photoshop, 2023
I imagined Ordovician (444–485 million years ago) with dawn; this is the time that life probably emerged into land for the first time. Early flora like mosses, lichens, and other tiny plants, along with small orthopods, colonized the land during this time.
In this scene, a stray Trilobite (Bumastus) crawled into a beach rock. Although Trilobites are known only for their marine life style, I speculated that at some point trilobites might have crawled on to land due to their legs and armour.
