Thoughts on a Conscious Universe

The universe is not some lifeless arrangement of materials.

Consciousness is not the property of biological life alone, there may be other types of consciousness, especially within complex systems like planets, such as our Earth and stars like our Sun.

Possibly having an arrangement of consciousness similar to our neural networks, but composed of different materials and scale.

Our Earth, with its interconnected organic networks reacting to one another, contributes to a greater consciousness, the consciousness of Earth itself.
Greater conscious beings like the Sun and Earth may or may not respond exactly like a person, but they could still be performing deliberate actions.

Beyond these, the universe itself may be conscious, the unseen energy that surrounds all of us, of which we are nodes.
Whether it be zero-point energy medium, plasma, stars, planets, galaxies, nebulas, or even living beings like us, all of these are part of the universe’s consciousness.

It may not be possible to truly comprehend how this greatest consciousness operates.

Perhaps the concept of God or gods is an attempt by our ancestors to understand and communicate with these great conscious entities.
Materialistic mainstream science may dismiss such ideas, but it is a closed-minded approach to believe that the limited methods we currently use are the only way to understand everything around us.

This idea is not new, even outside of religions, great minds like Spinoza believed in the pantheistic concept of a conscious universe.
